o When first starting off you need to set realistic goals.  If you are 240lbs your goal should not be to look like Jennifer Anniston in one month.  Your goal needs to be to drop maybe 10 lbs in a month.

o Also make sure you are slowly hitting your goals.  It is unsafe to lose too much weight too fast.  It is better to lose weight slowly and surely from eating weight loss foods then to just starve yourself

o You need to change your lifestyle.  Instead of eating out you need to make your own food.  Instead of sitting on the couch go for a walk.  Instead of driving to the store try walking to the store.
